This is one of my favorite Hygrophila species, with a very unique leaf shape. Like most Hygrophila, it is very versatile in the aquariums and can be used in a lot of ways. It can be a great tall background plant, but can also be trimmed very short and carpet rocks/driftwood. Relatively undemanding. Grows well in low light, but really gets colorful in higher lighting. It will stay more green without.
