Penthorum Sedoides is a unique stem plant that isn’t commonly seen in the hobby stateside. It’s a very beautiful foreground or midground species that grows very similarly to Limnophila Hippo or Limnophila Aromatica Mini and creates nice dense bushes
it is a fairly undemanding species in high tech conditions and doesn’t seem to give a fuss in any of the different conditions we have tried. We haven’t attempted to grow this species without co2, so cannot comment on its demands in low tech conditions. It puts up with being shaded well and doesn’t mind low lighting conditions. growth rate is more manageable than Limnophila, but isn’t overly slow.
